Fully Managed Service

With a hands-on approach by the Senior Management team, we offer a seamless service from initial contact, through the entire process of product selection, design, manufacturing, through to delivery of your uniforms and on-going contract support.

The managed service team at Burlington Uniforms includes a dedicated account manager and named help desk contact to give you the personal service you deserve – it’s at the centre of all that we do.

Engaging with our clients’ staff and understanding their businesses is key to us offering the best possible service and most suitable garments.

We understand that uniforms can be emotive for your staff, so it is for this reason that they are central to all that we do to ensure our clients can focus on their own business operations without uniforms causing disruption or adversely affecting your own reputation.

What are the key features of our fully managed service?

Design & Development

Having spent time understanding our clients’ businesses, we can offer the best possible garments – this could be an off-the-shelf solution from one of our approved UK suppliers, or a completely bespoke range of products. We have in-house designers and technical garment experts with vast experience in designing and developing corporate uniforms and our clients benefit from this service.

Wearer Engagement

Our engagement with wearers is extensive and varied – from developing new products based on specific wearer needs to seeking feedback from wearers to identify improvements in products & services. We have the facility to generate feedback through our in-house Wardrobe Management System remotely but we also collate face-to-face feedback during operational site visits and meetings. We also be happy to participate in uniform focus groups.

Sizing & Measuring

We can capture sizes for staff through a number of different methods depending on the requirements of each client. This could be as simple as issuing size charts for staff to choose their own sizes or sending sample garments for staff to try on prior to ordering. Where required we also offer a fully bespoke measuring service with our own staff attending sites to complete a full measuring exercise. These processes reduce the need for returns after roll outs and help ensure a smooth transition for new contracts.

Supply Chain Management

We have long-term relationships with our supply chain and work closely with them to ensure the highest levels of ethical & environmental performance whilst offering high quality, good value products & service for our clients. Suppliers are qualified through evidence of independent accreditation (such as ISO, WRAP, SEDEX), factory audits and in-factory production Quality Control checks.

Planning & Management

We use critical paths to map key stages of the mobilisation process for new contracts and large roll outs, including for on-going forecast / demand, deliveries and strategic contract management. Working closely with our clients to understand their needs and business challenges. This approach to planning ensures we are able to offer the best level of service, throughout the contract life.

Stock Holding & Forecasting

We hold consignment stocks in our own warehouses at pre-agreed levels, with trigger points when stock levels are near to those minimum agreed levels. Critically, we also work collaboratively with our supply chain to ensure all of our clients’ specific needs are met in terms of stock availability to minimise potential for stock outs.

IT Systems, Ordering & MI Reporting

Key to meeting our customer needs is our Wardrobe Management System (WMS) which consistently receives high acclaim from customers and users, particularly as it is developed & owned by Burlington Uniforms. Therefore we can develop the software to specific requirements of our clients. It enables greater control of budgets, allocations and ordering. It also can be used as an information and communication platform that contains catalogue information specific to each organisation and it's individual users.
