Ethical Commitments

Burlington Uniforms is committed to a policy of corporate social responsibility, incorporating ethical trading, equality and diversity and good environmental management

Our policy documents in this area include the following, which can be provided upon request:

We manage the environmental impact of our operations through our ISO 14001:2015 certified environmental management system so as to minimise our environmental impact, promote good environmental practice and continually improve our environmental performance.

We promote responsible and sustainable methods for the sourcing of raw materials and the production of fabric and goods. We regularly review our business practices and performance to identify the best means of improving our energy efficiency, minimising packaging use and waste disposal, reducing fuel consumption from transport, air emissions, and overall Carbon emissions.

None of the waste generated by our warehouse and head office operations based in Enfield goes to landfill. We use 100% recycled cardboard boxes and have increased the volumes of cardboard boxes being re-used and/or recycled every year.

Our aim is to reduce our Carbon emissions by 2030 and to achieve net zero Carbon emissions by 2050. Whilst we are working on our Carbon reduction projects we will offset our remaining Carbon emissions through investment in forestry and woodland projects. We regularly make charitable donations of redundant stock.

We also offer a range of suiting made with 100% recycled Polyester fabric.
