Guide to Ordering
You can place orders online. Simply browse through our stock service ranges, which offer an exciting collection of quality coordinated garments for Men and
Women, then select your requirements and order. You can use your credit card or credit account, if you are an account holder, to complete your purchase.

All prices are subject to VAT. We reserve the right to make any price changes and update products. Any changes that are made will be advised when we confirm the acceptance of your order.
Please allow up to seven working days for delivery. Allow a little longer for personalised items. When items are out of stock, despatch may be slightly delayed. All goods are subject to availability at time of order. Orders under £250 are subject to a standard carriage charge, otherwise we will deliver your order free of charge anywhere in the UK. The customer is liable to pay extra charges in respect of any special arrangement made at the customers' request to expedite delivery. Shortages must be reported within three working days of receipt.
Any number of garments in our brochure can be sampled, which allows you to “try and size before you buy”. Samples will be invoiced to you on despatch and will be credited in full on return, provided they are returned to us in the condition they were sent within 30 days of delivery. When samples are kept longer than 30 days the invoice will become payable, unless an extended trial period is agreed.
NON STANDARD SIZE GARMENTS
Any sizes outside our normal stock ranges are available as a special order. We charge an extra 25% on the catalogue price for this service and you should allow up to eight weeks for delivery. However, there are occasions where we have some outsize garments available from stock. Check at time of ordering with our customer service team for availability.
NON STANDARD COLOUR GARMENTS
If we do not have the colour you are looking for in our ranges we are able meet your requirement by sourcing alternatives for you. The only condition is that you order 100 of a style. Once the sample is approved, delivery would be 6-8 weeks subject to fabric availability at time of order. Please remember that any garments made at your request are not returnable. BESPOKE DESIGN SERVICE
We offer a complimentary service to advise, design and develop clothing that is fit for purpose and reflects your brand. As we have a UK production facility we are able to do this for as little as 50 staff. For more details contact our sales team.
SIZE AND FITTINGS
Our clothing comes in a wide range of sizes as shown in the sizing chart that has been drawn up specifically for our styles and fabrics. Please note that our sizes will not always correspond with high street equivalents.
Customise your corporate clothing with your company logo in one of four methods: Embroidery, Logo Tabbing, Heat Seal or Screen Printing. Please send a letterhead or bromide stating size and pantone colours for a personal quotation. For more details call our Customer Service Team.
CORPORATE TIES AND SCARVES
We are able to design, as part of your corporate wardrobe, a customised tie or scarf to enhance your image; providing you order 50 units or more. For more details please call our Customer Service Team.
Customer satisfaction is our main priority and we hope that you are happy with your new uniforms. However should you want a different size or be unhappy with your product for any reason, please return it to us within 30 days, in the condition in which it was purchased, for an exchange or NO QUIBBLES refund.
These must be returned accompanied by our returns form in the condition they were received i.e. with hanger, all tags attached, and with any packaging materials used. Shirts and blouses in packets will only be credited if they are folded, re-packed using all original materials and in 100% re-saleable condition. Extra care should be taken not to soil shirts and blouses with make-up, pen marks, dirt, oil etc. Returns after the thirty day period will not be accepted unless by prior arrangement. A discretionary handling charge may be applied for goods returned without good reason.
Goods that are made to order or are personalised or branded/tabbed cannot under any circumstances be exchanged or credited (unless faulty)
How do I return an item?
Simply send the item along with the completed returns form and invoice/delivery note, within 30 days, with your order to;

Please be aware that you are responsible for the item(s) until such time as they are received by us. As such we advise that you use a traceable and insured method of delivery, or at least obtain proof of postage to enable you to claim from the carrier should your item(s) fail to arrive with us.
Once an order has been placed it can be cancelled, though this may be subject to a discretionary handling charge. Personalised orders cannot be cancelled once placed into our system. If in any event you need to amend an order please call to check that this will be possible.
Credit is offered after a successful credit check has been carried out on your company. In the event of us not being able to offer you credit you will be allocated a pro-forma account and orders will only be processed on receipt of cleared funds.
Our payment terms for account customers are strictly 30 days from date of invoice. We reserve the right to charge interest of 4% p.a. over the base rate for all overdue debts and to recover all legal fees incurred. Our preferred methods of payment are Cheque, BACS, Visa, MasterCard, GPC and Paypal. All goods supplied shall remain the property of Burlington Uniforms Ltd until paid for in full.
If for any reason you are not happy with your order, just send it back. All we ask is that you return it within 30 days, paperwork included and in the same condition as when it arrived.
HOW MANY ITEMS TO ORDER?
As a rough guide we suggest a minimum of one jacket, two skirts or trousers, and three shirts or blouses per employee. The general rule is, one being worn, one spare and one in the wash.
All our garments contain a laundry/cleaning instruction label and this should always be followed, as failure to do so can lead to damage of garments. It is important, particularly with our easy care ranges, to use the hangers provided: i.e. jackets should not be hung on a chair back or coat hook as this can result in damage/deterioration. To help spread the level of wear and tear evenly across your garment allocation, we advise that they are worn in rotation. Should you need any advice we will be happy to answer any questions you may have.
Due to ongoing product development we reserve the right to change the specification of any garment in the brochures without prior notice.
